    PRE-APPLICATION MEETING INFORMATION

    All Energy Audit Program applications require pre-application discussions with the applicant. A site visit from CDFA staff may be requested prior to application approval. Please contact Scott Maslansky, Director of Clean Energy Finance (smaslansky@nhcdfa.org / 603-717-9123) to schedule.

     

    ABOUT THE ENERGY AUDIT PROGRAM

    The Clean Energy Fund’s Energy Audit Program is designed to assist rural small businesses and agricultural producers in New Hampshire obtain an ASHRAE Level II energy audit of the applicant’s facility by an eligible energy auditor.

     

    Using funds from the USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant program, CDFA will cover 75 percent of the comprehensive energy audit costs with eligible participants required to pay for 25 percent. CDFA will work with qualifying applicants to identify an eligible energy auditor, as well as incentives and financing opportunities available for implementing the recommended energy upgrades.

    Eligibility Guidelines

    Eligible applicants for the Clean Energy Fund include New Hampshire agricultural producers and rural small businesses that meet the following criteria:

    • For-profit business with a place of business in New Hampshire.
    • Rural small businesses must be located in eligible rural areas. Identify if your area is  eligible. Please note this restriction does not apply to agricultural producers.
    • “Small businesses” are defined according to Small Business Administration (SBA) guidelines. Small business size standards.
