CDFA recommends all Grantees schedule a pre-application meeting with all involved parties and CDFA staff. Please schedule using the “Schedule A Meeting” button on the top of CDFA’s website, www.nhcdfa.org.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CV PUBLIC SERVICES PROGRAM
This funding opportunity is designed to address the long-term impact COVID-19 on housing instability and homelessness. Eligible applicants are a county or municipal entity. The appliant can apply with up to two (2) eligible subapplicant entities that will help carryout eligible activities. This funding opportunity will fund eligible public service activities directly related to addressing housing instability and homelessness. Eligible activities are limited to: Subsistence payments, eviction prevention, security deposits for permanent housing and health services (including mental and substance misuse services).
Funding for the CDBG-CV program is provided to New Hampshire through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. New Hampshire’s statewide CDBG program has been administered by CDFA since 2003.
All applications must be received by CDFA through its online grants management system (https://nhcdfagrants.org).

ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
Eligible applicants for CDBG-CV funds include all New Hampshire incorporated counties, cities, and towns. A nonprofit agency may also apply through its municipality or county as a subrecipient of CDBG-CV funds. All eligible municipalities and counties may apply for a minium of $100,000 and up to $500,000.
Please note the federally-designated entitlement communities of Dover, Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Rochester ARE eligible to apply.
CDBG-CV funds come directly from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
